Hi! My name is Jasmine, and I am a 30-year-old teacher living in Northern Ontario. I came across Christina's Body Love Project one day while scrolling on Facebook and instantly knew I had to apply! I've struggled with my weight my entire life, and I've also grappled with loving myself and my body the way it is, especially when everything around me seems to provide reasons why I shouldn't. In the last decade, I've lost a substantial amount of weight, gained it all back, and really struggled with my mental health (and, you know, all the added Covid fun in the past lol) as well as other, more recent health issues with my body. But with the help and support of my wonderful husband and amazing friends and family, I am now in a much healthier place, both mentally and physically. My husband and I have moved closer to our families, and we are in our first home, ready to start a family and the next chapter of our lives. What better introduction to this new chapter than to fall in love with ME again?
I can honestly say that doing the Body Love Project session with Christina was an amazing, empowering, badass fun fest that I will never forget! Christina has an innate talent for capturing your essence in her photos and making you feel like an absolute Goddess (while effortlessly washing away your nerves and anxious energy)! I truly felt like a hot AF bombshell when she showed me the shots she took between takes! My session helped remind me of what makes me beautiful and unique, and it reinforced the idea that I am beautiful just the way I am! I am so, so thankful to Christina for helping me remember that! I think every woman should experience boudoir photography at least once in their lifetime, and I highly recommend working with the amazingly talented Christina Marie. After all, we deserve it! ❤️❤️
Everyone has unique features that make them special. Can you describe what you love most about yourself, both physically and in terms of your personality? What aspects do you hope to highlight in your stunning photos?
I think my favorite features would have to be my eyes, my lips, and my bum. 😉 I do like my legs as well, especially when I have enough time for leg day at the gym.😄
The idea of boudoir portraits can sometimes be nerve-wracking. Can you share your thoughts and emotions leading up to the photoshoot? How did you overcome any apprehensions or embrace the experience?
I am a little nervous...but mostly super excited to get in touch with my inner bombshell again! Been too long and I miss her. ❤️`
When someone views your portraits in the blog post, what impact do you hope to have on them? What thoughts and feelings do you want to inspire in other women? Is there any additional message or story you'd like to share that reflects your journey of self-love and acceptance?
When other women see my photos, I want them to feel empowered and know that every woman is a Goddess! Our minds may be trained by, let's face it, daily media sabotage, telling and teaching us to look at what makes us unique and see them as flaws that should be modified to fit the status quo. But I hope, for myself as well as all the beautiful women out there, that instead we view our bodies as a beautiful storybook of features that are part of who we are and that tell the story of our adventures and memories of life. We are all perfection, and I hope The Body Love project helps us remember this, even on days when it's difficult to recall. ❤️

Reflecting on your Boudoir Photography session, what have you discovered about yourself that you didn't previously know?
I learned that I am, in fact, hot af lol. It helped me feel more confident and not focus on my "flaws" but rather what makes me unique. Major confidence boost for sure!!

Can you recall a specific moment during the session when your initial nervousness or anxiety faded away? What caused that shift for you?
I was a little nervous at first, but I think my nervousness went away once I saw that first photo! Then I was ready to fully let loose and get right into the flow of things! :) Our chatting throughout was also a huge help!
Looking back on your journey with the Body Love Project experience, what message or key takeaway would you like to share with other women?
My final take-away is that, even if you think you can't, that's all the more reason to try, because definitely can! Also that every woman is an absolute Goddess! So don't forget to let your inner bombshell out to play once in a while! 😉❤️
